There is a Family Leaderboard that lists all the registered families in Mafia Wars. To find it, go to your Family Battle Page from the My Family Tab.
Click on "Family Battle History" to get to the Leaderboard.
There are two categories in which families are ranked. The Skirmish is not yet available so I don't have any information on it. The Battle category is active and the Loyal 2 the end Family is #1. You can see your own family at the bottom of the Top 10. The {ASS} Family is #562. If families want to move up in this rank, they will need to start doing more battles.
There are a variety of scroll options located to the far right of the Leaderboard. It's interesting to see that there are a total of 10,388 registered families. What's nice about this list is it includes the family tags and links back to the Family Page of that family. This is something we have been asking for. I'll have more to post when more information becomes available.

Is there a way to search the leaderboard or put them in alphabetical order so we are able to find a particular family?
