I'm getting a little bored writing about the Family Boss Fight. Here is the official word from Zynga. I'm not sure how to quantitative the word "swiftly" is but we should all be patient and check back here for updates. Everyone who visits the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page already knows that your Boss Fight has disappeared so you can stop posting about it and wait for it to come back.

Many users are experiancing an issue where the family boss has disappeared and are currently unable to collect the reward. The cause of this issue is known and the studio is already working swiftly to fix the problem. Please give us a little while to resolve the bug and get your family boss fight back up and running. This article will be updated once there is a chance in the status of the bug. |

Hmmm, I do not know the fix......Or do..... maybe do not release so many new features at once. Without thoroughly testing against a group of active players in a test environment.
