Players are starting to report that some of their war loot has been taken away by Zynga. Here is what the message says. I'm sure there will be innocents but don't be sad. This loot will soon be outdated anyways.

We ran an audit of Mafia Wars accounts that showed abnormal behavior and found that your account exceeded the expected number of Declare War rewards. To ensure a level playing field for all our players, we adjusted your Declare War rewards based on the order you earned them to the maximum limit allowed under the current system.

If your account is targeted, you will get the following popup which states the message from above. Some players were credited with bonus items if they had made Declare War purchases.

So...All of the RP's I wasted on early wars to get lvl5 loot are gone? I am fine with them taking the loot away, but the RP? That doesnt seem like a very fair rollback if you ask me?
ReplyDeleteHow does Zynga define "abnormal behavior" and "exceeded the expected number of Declare War rewards" ??? We can declare war every 8hrs. I have 2 wars/day. And that exceeds the expected number of Declare War?
ReplyDeleteI got the message just now also... "bonus of 48 items in addition to the 24 purchases you made for Declare War". No idea what they're actually saying, most unclear.
ReplyDeleteI lost about 200 off attack score and 150 from defence score. Wonder what they took... some Warlord 5 loot I guess?

ReplyDeletePlease let this server as notice, I understand that due to your code programming issues instead of firing your programmers you have decided to take it out on your players by either taking away or adding to their inventory, I Being a level 172 Platinum player which spends 2 to 3 hundred monthly on your game, has decided to halt all and any purchases of any rp's, I understand that i will lose my platinum status, But you need to understand I can not continue to support a game who punishes the players for mistakes made by your own employee's. I wish you luck in your future endeavors.

I for one have never used a war script and am lucky to get in 2 or 3 wars a day and i got a rollback of around 500atk and def, so i will be taking it up with support. I wonder since they rolling back, did they block the wars scripts somehow, if not, the ones that use it will just keep using and get there loot rite back.
ReplyDeleteThey won't get the loot back from scripts, because they fixed it so you can't get more than 5 pieces a day now. The scripts will still make it hard to jump in a war, but they won't be getting unlimited war loot

ReplyDeleteLost 256 ATK and 56 DEF (loot), hardly kick arse numbers but gone nonetheless. No whinning or trying to be polite helped w/ a zynga rep today. Never used a war script but can't validate that extra clicks trying to get in a war before the bots took up all the kills didn't benefit me at one time or another. Either way, this left a sour taste in my mouth today and i regret buying those FB game cards. I'll still be a click monkey for a bit for this game but can no longer give a shit to spend $120-$250 on this game anymore.Zynga can stick their Better Business accolades up their arse.
ReplyDeleteNow seems as good a time to leave as any other, I was warring 2 1/2 times a day, on average. If we are allowed to do it every 8 hours, why not. Plus, being a manual player, why should I be penalised for being a war whore?
ReplyDeleteI am not a script player and won't be. I lost 4k att and 3k def for playing the game. It wasn't my fault I got more then they wanted it is their fault but I get punished and the bots are still taking all the war loot. I don't spend much but from here out I won't spend anything period. Zynga is run by a bunch of idiots like our government. No clue No common sense No problem.
