Oh No They Didn't!: Total Nerf

Share:

You can't say we didn't see this one coming. Read the post below this one. I can't believe they did it so quickly.
Here are the new exp/ratios for The Smuggler's Haven.
Now lets review the severity of this nerf. This really sucks but it was an obvious mistake on their end. I completed it and haven't lost any progress so it could have been worse.

  1. Well they do read your blog and you did brag about it so what else could they do?

  2. LOL - I just opened it, did a job three times and hit the pop up above. Went back in and NERF. Gotta laugh

  3. Oh well, there goes any incentive to complete the mission quickly. I at least want back the RP I spent to try to get past all the broken counters in the mission that kept me from taking advantage of the good returns before they nerfed them.

Once again the rich get richer and the average folks get the short end of the deal. Hey, Zynga, where's that "level playing field" you're always giving lip service to?

  4. If you don't buy your way through the mission, it's impossible to be there yet, so to all "normal" players it's the fair thing to do.

  5. Must be nice to be able to buy your way thru the "Get a Grip" mission and have so much energy to even get into the secret district in the first place.

  6. as a player who got rolled back big time on my war loot through no fault of my own I have already put a tickjet in to Z asking for this loot to also be rolled back. If I can be rolled back because of their error so can all the serial levellers who caught this error. If they really want a level playing field (which I do not believe) then they will roll this back also.

  7. I do not think Zynga knows the meaning of "level playing field" unless it suits them, I can see more players quitting over this..I have been playing for nearly 2 years now and am very close to finishing with this game..

  8. Unemployed individual with years of experience in the development and implementation of both Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction programs, will work for RP.

Certainly can't do much worse than what they currently have in place, if anything.

  9. I'm devastated. What the heck ?! I thought they for once let us have an awesome event to make up for some of their mistakes, and now Gone... ? I'm at least glad I spent a few of my hard earned RP and got in early to earn them back and more. Though would've loved to have it the way it was. Will probably "only" go there to make the last hit on a job before levelup.

  10. Im not a huge energy account so i ended up spending 300rp to get the job done and get to the ruby level so I could take advantage of the high ratios. It was late so i didnt do that much once i got there so really think it is a bunch of crap thta now i did it and got there they rolled it back....what a waste.

  11. Well what is Zynga going to do now???? I lost 17,000 mafia Attack and 13,000 mafia def. in the war loot rollback. I know they took more than what I had "illegally" earnt.......What about the 1600 levels one player in my mafia gained and the 8000 skills points he has already allocated and the 800 RP's they gave him, which he has madly spent getting high value loot to boost his maf attack and maf def.....How are they going to fix this!!!! I'm still doing the mission and if they leave things the way they are, Players in my position will leave in droves. And if they roll back this amazing gain in skills points and take them from where they think people put them and remove the bought loot, the ones they think they bought and remove the RP's they think the players may have gained....we know some people will get screwed here....it TOTALLY explains why those who did a level every 10 seconds will leave MW's and Zynga. They are talking about this NOW on mass...It also TOTALLY explains why players who didn't complete the mission, like me, will leave if they touch one of my skills points or RP's or they leave the things the way they are....Those who didn't get the chance should have the same time as those who got in early and had 12 hours or whatever of maximum Experience gained. If they don't ddo that, I think Zynga has designed the best and fastest way to kill it's business enterprise. Congratulations on out doing the Rollback Zynga....

  12. @ the Visitor, which players doesn't have 10 RP ? Come on, it's only 20 levels. And it's all that's needed to complete the whole mission "immediately" if one had planned it since one needs to declare two wars and thusly must pay for the second if wanting it immediately. Anyone could've gotten in fast. No one should be rolled back with this (too...!) just for doing things the best way they can.

  13. If they do a rollback - they make some players angry. If they don't - they make others angry. I would have thought with the experience ratios so high that they would have been smart enough to realize it would cause a small window for serial leveling. It really is Zynga's fault for not thinking through the ratios, or not paying attention to what was happening this morning and trying to stop it quicker. It wasn't a "glitch" - it wasn't bad programming - it was a design flaw, coupled with not seeing what's actually going on.

  14. Where is my secret district?? Damn!!!

  15. e-mailed CS and told them I'm done with ALL Zynga games. This was the last straw...

  16. Either:

    (1) Restore the XP returns or

    (2) Roll back the ones who benefitted from the high returns or

    (3) Give everyone the high returns for their *first* time through Ruby then lower them or

    (4) Do both 2 and 3 <- fairest, levelest playing field option at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  17. If they restore the XP returns they ruin the game. In fact, I think they've already ruined the game. Yet another reason to quit. Ridiculous.

  18. I don't want a rollback. We've had enough of those. Those who got in early deserve what they got. However, if Zynga wants to put their money where their mouth is about "level playing fields", they will restore those excellent XP:energy ratios when the secret district opens to everyone so all of the rest of us have a chance to benefit from it as well. I'm getting sick of only the "chosen few" getting the good ratios while they nerf everything before the majority of players get a chance at it.

  19. This is a quote from someone in my Family who got in early( I didn't!)!!!

    "i leveled from 2500 to 3333 ... 833 times ... got 420 rp ... and i have doubled my secret attack skills"

    Enough said?

  20. Some of us were not lucky enough to get the mission the first days like the rest of you. I'm on the server that waits until very last moment to give me anything, so naturally, I missed out on this. I believe they should give us a chance at it as well if they seriously want to "level the playing field". (which I don't believe for a second)

  21. I never buy RP's an I'm on the 3rd level using common sense when doing the jobs and allocating skill points helps a lot

  22. never bought RPs... finished this in under an hour. thanks for the table, certainly helped
