Mafia Wars Live Episode 8 aired today. The "sidekick" this time is Jeff and Nate moved over to the left instead of his usual right side position. Nate and Jeff color coordinated their T-shirts. Nates says "That Squirrel can Waterski" and Jeff's says "Jefferyology: The study of Jeff". I admit most of us who play Mafia Wars are dorks but this takes it to the next level.
The show starts out with an explanation over the war loot debacle. They didn't mean to accuse the innocents of cheating and feel all players now have what they should. This is followed by some cool announcements.
-Union Hall should be coming soon and it will be a central location for us to collect and craft on all our properties. It's was created because of player demand and will stream line our clicking.
-New mission on Thursday or Friday called Get a Grip. This is followed by some big news. Doing this Mission will unlock secret districts in Brazil. If you finish the Mission, you will get early access. These secret districts will be available to all once the Mission expires.
-Mystery Bags will soon get a loot refresh.
-Facebook is changing some things and there will be a way to centralize out favorite places. Mafia Wars is assumed to be our number 1. They will provide us with more information once it is implemented.
- Fridays's Collectors Edition item called a Tiglon which is a real animal and is a cross between a male tiger and a female lion. It is the opposite of the Liger. The Mafia Wars version of the Tiglon has stats of 72/134.

 Can we please get a list posted somewhere of the number of Family experience points needed to achieve each level (1-10). We know that each Family member can earn up to 2,400 exp point for their Family per day but we don't know how much total exp is needed to get to each level and therefore can't calculate how much time it will take to achieve each perk. __________________ |
Nate said that they are going to do a better job of announcing community events as well as there own. I think he felt bad for totally ignoring the Battle of the Sex II Mock War. We were told that there will be a way to tell in the future who is contributing to the Family Progress. The outlook to raise the Family member cap of 100 doesn't look good but they are going to look into ways to make it better. The standard "We're working on it" was given. They are considering adding Stamina Packs next to the Energy Packs on the Home Page and will have a timer as they are going to be permanent. The fight screen messages from the old Fight Module like "You totally dominated your opponent" are gone but they are thinking of bringing variations back if they can find a spot. We may see more contests in the future in line with the T-Shirt and Crates in which players can design an event.
