Farewell To Blue Eyed Nate

Share:

I'm sad to inform you that Blue Eyed Nate, the lead Community Manager will be leaving Zynga. He has done a lot for the community and really stepped up the pace as far as information flow is concerned. To keep track of Nate and find out the exciting details of his future adventures, follow the Nathan McGee Fan Page. Tomorrow he will let us know where is going next as he states "I was made an offer I couldn't refuse".

I will post information about the direction of the Community Management Team once it is released. There will be a temporary replacement until Nate's big shoes are filled. I'd also like to thank Nate for getting to know the community and all the work he has done to improve our gaming experience. He will be missed.

  3. Nate was a god of misinformation for the Zyngans. Maybe he can go across the street to work for Yuku.:/

  4. He'll always have a sweet spot in my heart as the inventor of the classic Zynga non-answer. Under the 'Skills' heading on his resume, does it read "Strongly disliked my several hundred thousand Mafia Wars players." To quote my favorite talk show host (Greg 'Opie' Hughes),'Good luck, bro."

(If you know the Opie &Anthony Show on SiriusXM, I hope you're laughing as hard as I am now.)

  5. Thank you for all your hard work Nate, you have tried your damnest to have all communication to flow between Zynga and the players. You did not have the easiest job in the world and you did put a name and face as a Zynga representative. You made yourself accessible in every way possible, trying to reach out to the MW community in many forms, which a lot of people may not have been aware of. You've really tried to reach out and keep in contact with groups of players, get their input, feedback, answer questions on Live Chat when able to, contacts via skype, emails through Facebook, and Zynga.

People really did not have any understanding of what you have had to do in your job as a Community Manager. Between hearing from the players vs. internal pressures and from staff members, it seemed like you were on a balancing act a lot of times. You have done so much!

You'll be missed Nate and wish you all the best in your endeavors.
