Zynga held up their end of the deal and gave Families that had issues with the Family Progression feature compensation (1). You will find this message the next time you go to Mafia Wars. Families on the daily and weekly timers will get additional Family and Individual Experience.

Glad we were compensated, although the "accept"window never popped up on my account.My energy/stamina was refilled automatically, so no chance to use up that 2k stam../grrr lol. Not bad Fam experience.
ReplyDeleteNo "Accept" button here, or else I missed it. Think I got it, but not completely sure since it was almost but not quite a level for me and I don't remember exactly where I was at before!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see an accept button and closed it with the little x - but I got the individual bonus anyway - I can't tell if the family got its bonus though.

ReplyDeletereally pissed me off ... no option to accept ... i had full energy and stamina and it leveled me up and wasted an entire level of ices, loot, and jobs.
ReplyDeleteAccounts that weren't affected by the bug also got the reward for this! Not really that great of a deal anymore, it's not really compensation if everyone got it
ReplyDeleteWe all have to whine. I didn't have the "accept" option available, just got the XP dumped into my account.
ReplyDeleteThey did, almost, the right thing. We lost two days of XP, they gave us back one. We were sitting on whatever unused Energy or Stamina we were sitting, that was wiped out. Overall, what more could you ask? They tried to fix it but, since they don't understand their own game, they screwed up. Good intentions, lousy (as always) execution.
I have a few accounts more were messed up that were working. The accept button is there but it doesn't matter what you do there. Had other tabs open and left the popup open and checked the other tab. As soon as you click on anything ingame you see the credits are applied to your account. left with 15k energy and under 1 k to level on one and over 7k stamina and under 1k to level.
ReplyDeleteThis was over 2 days for me and that's 4800 family points I missed not 2400. I think many of us have very good cause to complain.
My response, no accept button ---- "Received your 'compensation package'. Firstly, my timer was out of action for TWO days not one. The 'compensation' was dumped in my account overnight when I had 2000 exp to level and unused stamina. This simply took me to next level losing 24,000 exp plus unused stamina. This was not compensation, it was in fact a negative experience!!! Furthermore, what about the lost level ups and loss of skill points over that two day period? Who ever devised this compensation package needs to reassess his ideas on the mechanics of the game! As an aside to this issue, those with no access to power/stam packs are also at a distinct disadvantage in the game. Zynga always states it wants to create a level playing field - My experience in the last week shows this to be a false claim."
ReplyDeleteIf Zynga could done any thing right? IE Level playing field, my a@@. Still mad about the war loot items , i had trouble for 3 weeks where it would NOT let me help in wars to get loot, 3 day sometimes could collect more then the 5 most was 10 , so i lost 1 whole day to collect then they come and took more then the half i could collect on,, level playing field, my a@@. as for this new bad experiance i don't know if my family got any exp to the event or not , but mine was 2 days as well,they WILL NEVER GET IT RIGHT, i got an idea cut the game done for everyone,, clean up the game and reboot/maintenance on the servers , and use just those servers for MW only, stop adding to much stuff, roll one thing out at a time every other week. Hell there is enough to do in the game as it is, and i don't think many would complain if they let us know what they are planing to do, if in fact it did clean the game up, and truly made it a level playing field for all. side note,,,,as for the new players complaining and getting what they want,,BULL. I worked my way up, i understood that to build up my ability, i needed to collect and play, and take takes time , now they got all this 100+ att/def items everywhere, come on took me over a year to get where i am , new peeps can be there in 6 months , come on!
