I'm very impressed to see that the Official Mafia Wars Blog has posted the 3rd of there series called This & Next Week. I hope the guy who wrote this got tired while doing the "This Week" part and requests that Zynga slow things down.
Who cares what already happend? I wish I could forget about most of it. Now for the good stuff. The first bug, I posted about during the past few Missions. This started happening once they changed it so kills would count as two ices. Now they just need to fix the news feed posts too. The second bug I noticed but thought it was just something specific to my account. Not really a big deal but I'm glad it's fixed.
This Week's Major Bug Fixes
BUG: Kills, which count as two ices elsewhere in the game, were not counting at all toward ice counters in "Ice X opponents" mission tasks.
FIXED: Kills now add 2 to mission task ice counters.
BUG: Friend names were not filtering correctly while one typed in the "Start Typing a Name" box on the Free Gifts page and the Inventory Gifting page.
FIXED: Name lists now filter correctly in response to what a player types.
Either next week is going to be relaxing or the blog guys didn't get all the specs. I hope it's the former. What would a week be without a Limited Time Mission? Most of us expect those to happen so it's not a big news flash. According to the specs, the new Mystery Bags that will contain new boosts were suppose to be out a few days ago (1). Like I've stated in the past, anything that has the word "Mystery" in it usually sucks. I don't think Popeye is going to give up his spinach over it this mystery.
Coming Next Week*
*As far as is currently scheduled, but things can change.
New Mission: Jackpot
Join Michelle Paulis and do anything to win in a mission to rig the lottery in your favor.
New Mystery Bags
Boosts are coming! Send friends the new mystery bags and they could get a crazy amount of rare fighting boosts. The combined strength of these boosts would make Popeye trash his entire supply of spinach!

ReplyDeleteGlad you finally moderated or did a time delay before comments were posted. Comments started to become a spam a thon of hate from trolls or people that want to hate anonoymously. I don't agree with every post that ever was posted on this blog but 99% is very helpful to me and I would think most of the MW community. There is a way to give constructive feedback or to state your disagreement without being hateful or spiteful. IF people really have disdain for you or your writing (or your admin team) then they can choose to read another blog. Some other nice blogs out there but this site is where i go everday for current information or updates on bookmarklets- even if i choose not to use certain ones. Keep up the good work, leave the haters hate their own little messed up lives, continue to take constructive feedback positively, have some humility when needed, and continue to have fun w/ the game. Thanks

ReplyDeleteAnd we can keep on attacking her until she quits playing Mafia Wars.
I'm sorry to see you've had to take an extra step and devote time and human resources to prevent all the trolls from taking over the comment section, but I understand it. There's nothing more disturbing than having a blog splattered with mud throwing from anonymous posters. In this context anonymity can fuel paranoia on the target's part (gee who are these people?) and allows anonymous trolls to smirk from the shadows.
