Changes to Assassin Boss Fight: The Raven
We've heard your feedback.
By feedback, could they be talking about the idea I posted on Get Satisfaction? So far 792 of you liked the idea any many provided valuable comments on how the feature could be improved. The idea to remove the achievement that requires us to beat The Raven 100 times was marked "Under Consideration" a few days ago. I can't wait to see what they come up with.

I hope this means a reasonable drop rate for sniper shots! Some 1 per 1-10 ices would be wonderful.

ReplyDeleteAlthough the change is yet to happen, you deserve a big pat on the back...as well as all those that voted. Zynga receives a lot of slack, but they do occasionally listen to the community.
ReplyDeleteWhether Zynga deletes the Achievement is yet to be seen. However, I think they have enough players voicing their opinions to (at the very least) make the Achievement easier to obtain.

leave the achievement, but normalise sniper shots drops and perhaps, but not necessarily, decreases the number of days required for him to spawn

"The rate at which the Ammo is dropping is intended and I understand how frustrating this can be when trying to lot them to defeat the Boss. Please keep in mind that it may take 5-10+ encounters to accumulate enough enough to defeat him just 1 time. I will add 30 Reward Points on me to help you get back into the action with the Raven."
So let us do some math.
we have to kill him 100 times but we need 5-10+ encounters to kill him... so a total of 500-1000 encounters. But if you see him and no kill him you need to wait 3 day for it. So you need 1500-3000+ days to kill him 100 times. 4-8+ years to complete it.
Every 2 or 3 months we become better fight and jobs rewards by now is In 1 year is the reward not worth anymore... By now the best Armors in jobs and fights are Sinaaski 90/66 and Climber Leggings 50/85 if we count wars there is the Gothic Boots 100/64.
So conclusion... is not worth at all trying to get the 100 achivement. The only
