If you get a inbox message from Facebook Security, don't believe it. Your account will not be permanently suspended if you ignore and delete this message.
Lets take a closer look. Here is the page where this message originated from. It's just a profile page and if you look closely at the word "Security" you will see the "i" and the "t" are not from the English Alphabet. I reported this page and you should too. I wonder how they were able to get this name on a profile as Facebook usually screens and prevents fake names?
Here is what the real Facebook Security Page looks like.

i think Facebook team should have to think twice on the fb security.........this is very bad.....
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I was too busy at work and clicked on the link following the instruction. I gave all my information and they took about 143USD and 172USD. The money was used on Zynga poker. The money was returned back to me :-)
ReplyDeleteTo avoid this issues, better close your message from others who's not in your fb friends
ReplyDeletekinda hard to report them w/o the address or link. Just sayin...
ReplyDeleteDon't use the "Report/Contact this App" link! Click on "AdmIn Security" at the lower left corner and choose "Report App" on the "AdmIn Security" App page.
ReplyDeleteI also got this message...reported it already
ReplyDeleteLook at their "k" in "Facebook"...that ain't a letter from the normal keyboard either!
ReplyDeletei think ppl should go ahead a verify their account just to be safe. It sucks to be banned.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how they were able to get this name:
ReplyDeleteThe name is not detectable by facebook because the "K" on "facebook" is not in the English alphabet and, who knows, maybe the "O"s are not really Os either
Missing words are in that message as well. But then, why would anyone click on a link in a message? Ever??? -Lonnie
ReplyDeletei get these emails all the time when I play zynga poker, so this is nothing new
ReplyDeletethe basic grammar mistakes in most hoaxes/scams are also a give away. I don't hold FB or zynga in particularly high regard as far as most things go, but a command of the English language is something they get right.
ReplyDeleteHere's a suggestion...don't play poker on FB, since it seems to be coming from there.
