Mafia Wars Live was self described as a "Thrown Together Show". The announcements were more of a review of things we already know.
1.  Family Chat has been updated and they seem to think it's better than Skype.
2.  Vengeance Boosts are back and should be working now.
3.  The Big Heist and the "Rob All" button was discussed.
4.  The changes in the Assassin Boss Fight were mentioned.
5.  The new Mission Betrayal in Bangkok is out and the goal of Zynga is to clean up the Travel Bar so new players don't feel so overwhelmed.
6.  The T-Shirt Contest will go into phase 2 tomorrow and finalists that we will vote on will be selected.
7.  The new "Rapid Power Attack Batch" feature was discussed as well as some of the changes on the back end called "secret voodoo coding" were mentioned.
8.  The Declare Wars feature is going to change to prevent exploits and players may see account rollbacks. Don't feel too comfortable if you're maxed out on War Loot.
9.  Although we can only gift 26 players at one time, there is no limit of how many times we can do it. Letting us gift 5,000 players at a time will cause problem on the Zynga servers.
10.  A new Collector's Edition item will be available on Friday and during the month of August we will have 2 new items each week.
11.  The Farmers Insurance Loot Event will start this week most likely on Friday.
They looked worn out after all that!

Player questions were answered so stay tuned for a Q&A post. The addressed my question but never answered it. They apologized for not keeping us informed and explained they had intentions of adding collections to Brazil and apologized again for the delays but they didn't say yes or no either way. They did make one more announcement and said there was going to be a loot design contest once the T-Shirt contest is over, possibly next week.

Are we going to get new Brazil Collections? We were told on June 17th via a Customer Support doc that 3 new collections would be added to Brazil. This information was removed from the Brazil FAQ on June 20th. There has been no official word on the status of these collections. Some players have been waiting to further master Brazil until the collections are out and it would be nice to know if we are waiting for something that isn't going to happen. __________________

The next broadcast will happen in 2 weeks and more emphasis will be placed on Zynga's stance about scripting. We would all be happy if they would give us more guidance and make a list of authorized scripts as mentioned in the TOS.
