Yesterday I made a post questioning the end time for the Italian Jobs Event (1). There wasn't a timer and we had two different stories. The Mafia Wars Fan Page and the Official Mafia Wars Blog (which are managed by the same people) said the event would end today at 10 am PDT.
The Mafia Wars Blog gave conflicting stories. On the post linked above it says "From today until July 26th at 10AM PDT" and on the This & Next Week posted the same day, it says "through July 26th". No wonder players are confused.
The Mafia Wars Fan Page and Blog (post #1) are the winners as the event did expire at 10 am. I feel kind of ripped off as "thru" implies the entire day and 10 am isn't even half of it. This isn't the first time we've been told different stories by Zynga and it won't be the last. I was able to collect 166 Ruby Throated Hummingbirds so I can't really complain. Players who don't visit the Mafia Wars Fan Page or read the Mafia Wars Blog and believed what the game told them will probably be disappointed. It would suck to think you had the rest of the day to finish Italy with 3 X Mastery and find out the hard way that it expired.

Its just what u think. Cause there are different time zones in the world. If u go to ASIA or in GMT its late night now. So this event date was fair enough in there case.

@Anonymous, I readily admit when I'm wrong and thank those who let me know I've made an error. Thru the 26th means exactly that regardless of time zone. Fair and accurate are two different things.
