Fight Loot Review

Share:

Yesterday I showed you all the Mafia Wars Gods "Best Of" loot reference charts for Jobs, Fights, Fight Club, War and Operations. With all the different loot items, it can seem overwhelming when it comes time to figure out what is most practical for your account. 7 of the Top 8 loot items now come from fighting and the Fight Club (excluding the Brazil Ruby Loot Event items). The chart below focuses only on fight and Fight Club loot and should help you when it's time to spend your Victory Coins. I'm going to wait until after the Ruby Loot Event has expired and see if Zynga has anything else planned in the loot department. Many thanks to the Reclusive Neurotic from the Rovin' Rebels for the data below. I added the one Brazil job item that is better than fight loot and the War and Operation item that tie with fight loot items to the bottom of the chart.

In case you are worried that everybody is getting so much Ruby Level loot and you aren't, here is the break down of the 8 Brazil Loot items that have better stats than the fighting loot. It's not as bad as it looks and only the top energy accounts that can serial level will max out.

Here are two large fight runs that I performed yesterday and the day before. It should take long for most players to max out on the 4 new fight loot items. All my settings remained the same but the second run is better because my equipment scores were increased and I won more fights resulting in more loot.

July 15th
102,729 Stamina
460 Top Fight Loot Items
July 16th
102,748 Stamina
545 Top Fight Loot Items

  1. Since a majority of the high loot items come from the Fight Club, why wouldn't you fight in NY to collect more victory coins?

  2. fighting in brazil costs 5 times more stamina and drops 5 times more loot, the jobs in brazil cost at least 5 times more energy than in other cities but don't drop 5 times loot, if I were Zynga I would make so that loot drops at least 3x times in brazil jobs, except for special things like this ruby thingy

  3. @Albert, if you look at the run times that should answer your question. Fighting in NY takes about 3 times as long so I would have taken me 6 days to do those two runs. I want to max out on fight loot quickly then I'll start robbing which will yields less Victory Coins per stamina but the ratio will allow me to level faster so I'll accumulate more in the long run. Plus I have a shitload of them to use but I'm holding off in case Zynga decides to throw something else out there.

  4. Your statistics are proving to me how much I am starting to dislike Mafia Wars. 102748 = 234 ices. How is a "normal" low ranking player ever supposed to do some of the tasks. Even with a high stamina lever it will take your computer a lot of grunt to get the 1000 ices.

  5. I am not sure it make a hill of beans difference anyways... Mafia stats are really not helpful as long as they decent (and you have 501 mafia). So even if a person maxes on the ruby loot, it really is just for show. Loot Lady - it would be nice to see some type of test on this notion... maybe demoing the fight power of folks at difference mafia stat levels and personal levels... might help people to figure out where to expend their efforts within the game!

  6. v nice stam run :) so does fighting in NY gain more v coins than fighting in vegas ?

  7. Fight items also drop from robbing, and the Robbit bookmark does allow you to do robberies a lot faster. The difference between fighting and robbing when it comes to VC (regarding New York) is the drop rate for fighting is roughly 1 VC per 5 stam used. For robbing the drop rate is around 1 VC per 16 stam used.

  8. I like that you have a version of Assassin-a-tor that displays elapsed time. It would have come in handy during the Icing events, where I'd split fighting time between Italy and Brazil. I got more Ices/stamina and Vcoins/stamina in Italy, but it took so long, I did want to check if I got more ices/minute etc. in Italy as well, but too lazy to start a stopwatch etc. I think the exp/stamina ratio was a bit better in Brazil as well especially with the crew fighting bonus.
Thanks for the thorough research, useful stuff.

  9. @ Anon (3:31 AM): but the job loot from cities/countries other than Brazil is worthless.

Agree with Jen on the time issue. I can't stand fighting outside of Brazil -- takes WAY too long.

  10. @Anon (11.39AM) There is a tiny yellow dot in the upper left corner of Assassin-a-tor. If you click it, the run time will show. This feature is also part of Robber BG.

  11. when it comes to new ruby loot in brazil not worried at all noone i play with is even trying for it since were still trying finish brazil and we all have small nrg pools and the drop rate stink and nrg required to max means only ehos will max and they cant win a fight because there skill sucks. my concern is have you done the math to max out on fight club loot its 337500 victory coins or around that number anyways to max on a single item. thats about million wins in ny/vegas/italy/bk doubt youll see many ppl maxed anytime soon yes there ppl already maxed but very very few.

  12. @Carl It's me again Anon (11.39AM) that is truly a tiny dot, but it does work. Good to know.

  13. lol, Blog just ate my reflection on the current state of affairs regarding Mafia Strength in the game... probably because it was 2 pages long...

Nonetheless here is my attempt to keep it short:

1: E-ho's always have to stack all their skills on attack to achieve multi levelling, their loot are not worth much

2 Stamina multi levellers are a whole different bucket of ice... they need to have a fair attack to be successful robbers and achieve 2.80 stamina/xp average on the robbing boards...
So if you calculate a bit using this chart: http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=121399994606473&topic=21 and you factor in that currently a 1 year old stamina character is most probably a 10k combined player with 2-3k defense, 7-8k attack and with all the VC from multu levelled Robbing, it has 200.000 Mafia Defense and 205.000 Mafia Attack... all free of charge, no GameCard/RP purchases needed.

This gives our stamina character a defense of 3000 + (200.000/10) = 23000 Defense and
    7000 + (205.000/10) = 28500 Attack....

Let us take the FIGHER with the same 10K combined... he will probably be more even on the stats with 5k on both defense and attack, and With not much vc to spend as it is definitely not a multy leveller, it will most likely mobe on around 165.000 Mafia Defense and 170000 Mafia Attack and this gives it these specks:

    5000 + (165.000/10) = 215.000 Defense and
    5000 + (170.000/10) = 220.000 Attack

Well then who just got crushed? and don't forget, if I even the skill allocation for the stamina character also, it still wins, but it is highly ulikely it has an equal allocation on both sides... trust me...

Upping the ante for the poor fighter, if it wants to Ping Pong (both sides win) with the stamina character who has 3000 ergo 23000 Defense it has to have an attack of 7500 +

...but wait thats not all... when is a Fighter Character going to reach 10combined with only a few levels a day, not in 1 year, thats for sure, at least not if it does not use $s to do that.... If you move on to 20k combined and more the situation is only worse and worse for the Fighter and don't forget a fighter has 1 % of the stamina its counterpart has
