I did a few different runs in different Brazil Districts to determine the drop rates for the new Ruby Level Loot items. The first run was in District 1 and I chose the job with the lowest energy cost, "Scope Out the Financial District".
I did 1,101 jobs and spend a total of 59,454 energy. I got 3 different types of items with a total of 6.
I then did a run on the highest energy costing job.
I got 644 jobs and spent 521,640 energy. I got 45 items from all 7 types of loot.
Once I got 11 Fireflies, the number on the Missions Bar turned yellow. There was no option to gift the item like there was in the X-Men Event so I don't know yet if 10 is the cap.
I checked my inventory and all 11 items are active. Without a FAQ from Zynga it's hard to say if there is a cap on these items or not.

Yeah, so the higher the energy consumption, better is the rate.
ReplyDeleteThere is no cap. You are able to collect as many of these as you can within the time limit.
ReplyDeleteCerulean Master
actually according to those stats the drop rate is not better with the more expensive jobs. With both jobs the rate was approximately 1 drop per 10000 energy.
ReplyDeleteSeems a little ridiculous to me... maybe the drop rate is better for players with less energy.
The best Job to collect is District 2 (Gun Down the Kidnappers) 243 energy 490 Experience points (2.02)! Very efficient!
ReplyDeleteJen, could you please re-run the test by doing it not on number of jobs but on energy consumption and please also include a job from the middle of the districts? I'd suggest something like 300k energy for each run. that would be more accurate, to see if the drop rate is leaning towards the energy consumption or the energy requirement of the job? ... I'm of course asking this because I do not have an Energy account to do it myself... Thanks
ReplyDeleteI have no idea..but to mess up your leveling by spending tons of energy there is insane to get 1 item per 10k energy...I personally will just pass on the whole thing..its definitely NOT worth it
ReplyDeletespent about 20ooo energy and nothing :( - gave it up...
ReplyDeleteI tried District 2, Gun down the kidnappers with 5k energy, got nothing.
ReplyDeleteI have dropped about 30000 energy. I tried the lower energy jobs in district 1, and 2 and got nothing. Only job that has given me anything is the (Assassinate the Neo-Imperium's Primary Heads) the last job in Sao Paolo: Taubate Prison district
ReplyDeleteEnergy 810 (2.19) 1.77K 23.3K
This is what I have looted so far:

The key is power leveling.
ReplyDeleteBrazil 8.
I've got about 100 of each so far.
screenshot link or it didnt happen
ReplyDeleteI am up to about 400 of everything, with some items approaching 500.
ReplyDeletePower level, just keep doing jobs and hope for Mastermind/Wheelman bonus.
It seems like the MM/WM bonuses have increased a little too, like up to about 7 or 8% up from 4 or 5% a few weeks ago.
Also agree that 'Assassinate the Neo-Imperium's Primary Heads' (last job in Region 8, 810 energy = 1775 XP) has by far the best drop rate (AND ALSO BEST ENERGY RETURN RATE WHEN TAKING MM/WM INTO ACCOUNT).
In total with the increased MM/WM bonus rate, I am clearing about 2.4 xp/energy. Plus robbing in NY is giving me about 2.5xp/stamina when my xp falls just short of leveling.
But my advice is switch to spending all energy first and let the MM/WM bonuses work for you, then fill in the gaps with robbing in NY as needed.
