Who is the strongest Family
out there? A new icing event will determine the coolest and baddest Family in
Mafia Wars. Y’all will need to work together to earn mastery items that will be
awarded to everyone in the Family. Extra special rewards will go the top 10
Families.

Every
time your Family hits an icing mastery tier, the entire Family gets the mastery
item. Ice players in Fighting, and your ices during the event will count
towards your Family’s icing mastery.

Top 10 Families
The
top 10 Families will earn bonus prizes on top of the Family mastery rewards.
Members of the 1st place Family will each get a Two-Headed Snake
(175 attack, 175 defense) and 20 skill points. So start gathering your Family
and plan your attacks!

Leaderboards
You
will be able to see the top 4 Families and the number of ices they have on the
Homepage. You will also see your Family’s icing rank for the event. Your own
icing progress will appear in the middle of the homepage banner.

Join a Family
Not
part of a Family yet? Head to the Families page under the My Mafia tab to find
Families that are recruiting or Families that your friends have joined. Once
you accept an invitation into a Family, you will be able to participate in the
Death by Ice event.

ReplyDeletethe rewards are no much incentive....they want to have people blowing stam refills they should think about making rewards 20 pcs, 50 pcs of loot..cmon, we already need 501 of 6 items, and this doesnt cost them one dime... just like their 'limited edition items" that are always sold out..total BS, and a waste of space. they are out of touch with most serious players, and its insulting to our intelligence.

Maybe some will just play for the fun of the game, some people take it way too serious and as for those who spend lots of real cash on it, sorry you're silly as will always be somebody with a larger credit limit than you.. I play legally no bots but do use chucker and switch
I try to master all events. However, if there are events now that I can't master (because I'm not in a family...I have no intention of turning my facebook page into 100 people that I don't know. Facebook is for my friends.) then I will stop trying to master all events.

I must though admit I love this! I today actually could join the family I've wanted to join for weeks but which has been full, and to celebrate with this kind of event? It just seems awesome!
ReplyDeleteIf everyone could get the gun from the last icing event that would mean 100 000 ices if all in the family which I guess is full repeats it = easy. I'll ice my ass off for sure, but not spend a single RP, since it can't be needed.
If some players use real money to buy refills and ice more I don't see it as having been beaten by them in this event, so that snake won't matter. Anyway! Will do my best!

Did you ever stop to thing that most of the time they are fighting close to their own level? Yes you idiots, they are fighting people that have invested similiar amounts of money into the game.

When was the last time that you had someone "sit" on you from a clan? Sure someone might have iced you, and some of you will even cry that somebody hit you more than 10 times. WHAAA!! I personally built a fighter, and for FAR too long zynga has catered to people that vested everything into energy and doing jobs to get loot. I don't have all top loot from doing jobs. Heck, I only have 800 energy. So quit your complaining that they are finally catering to someone besides yourself, you selfish S.O.B.'s

rather than get heated- cc players - so what, if I played Golf or went fishing would you complain if I used MY hard earned cash to buy better clubs or a new reel.....my gripe is this is designed for those using brawler/assassin, the groups that win will have to to be able to get the number of ices, impossible manually. which is against zyngas own code of conduct. but hey ho - lets go for it and enjoy.

Mafia Wars is NOT a free game. It is however, a game you can play for free. Quit crying about credit card players. Get another job or just quit playing if you can't afford it. No one cares if you quit, especially if you're not spending any money. Would you care if the guy who only came to your store for the free coffee stopped coming?
ReplyDeleteIts not just the bots with the icing , i really respected this page till i saw the people running it support the use of the grease monkey script auto player war bots that steal all the war loot, scanning the posts with the best loot from people sitting there trying to assist in wars , this game is rolling around the rim of the toilet already , im not joining any F@ckin family , this game is now solely designed to make these assholes rich and you can go into debt making some company whos investors and stock holders are now wall street banks, why dont they let the people who made them rich get a piece of the pie???? cause they could careless , we are a bunch of weirdos to these people , buying LOOT which goes outdated in a month or 2..... now join a family to get more worthless loot that will be replaced by stuff in 2 months they will want you to buy and millions will, one time i got a visa gift card for 50 bucks and was able to use 40 of it on skill points (rps), never again did i buy a thing for mafia wars.. would of used the 50 but there was a dollar charge, that being said i have more than enough fun playing this i win more than i lose and dont even care if i get attacked or lose we are supposed to , but if i spent a ton of money i might see myself getting a little pissed off, no matter how much you spend you will still get your ass kicked just moving up the totem to get smashed by people above you still. Mafia Wars is a Korean FTP rip off. Free to Play but you absolutely HAVE to pay money to get the good stuff. I don't like it one bit, it goes against English and American values, it's virtual property (meaning it's worthless in real life, even if you spent thousands on your account) and it's not even fun anymore?!??!!?!? ReplyDeleteOnly Problem I have with this event is I dont want to be part of a family and accept not receiving the mastery............ but since the event has started I have not got 1 ice today.... i average 60 - 80 ices a day.....i think is tucks not to receive the ice just because you are not in a family, that sucks
