Sometimes Zynga rewards you for clicking too fast. You can often get extra loot items for clicking to fast with Wars, Secret Stashes and Promotion Bonuses.
Sometimes you get warned for clicking too fast. The game is designed so you have to compete with other players to get an ice. Clicking as fast as you can is all part of it. It's ironic that players are getting the Irregular Behavior warning message when all they are trying to do is get an ice.
It gets even more confusing when we are told by the Official Mafia Wars Blog to attack other players with everything we have. I guess it wouldn't have sounded cool if they had to add "but not too fast" to it.
Thanks to Vanda and Sabrina for the screen shots.

ReplyDeletehow do you do the many clicks to get more war items?
ReplyDeletehow do you do the war thingy to get multiple items?
ReplyDeleteThe fast clicking causes a lot of internet traffic and buffer problems, witnessed by your mouse hourglassing while everything plays catch up. The Mafia Wars fight engine can't cope with the buffer problems, which is why it mistakenly awards the extras. The big problem is I believe Facebook don't like this too much since it slows things down for other users, which I think has caused some friction between them & Zynga, which is why Zynga have had to redesign the fight engine, so please try and play ball. In the meantime, I tend to imagine an old WWI type heavy machine gun and click to that rate of fire in bursts of 16 clicks, seems to work fine for icing and no Zynga messages!
