Death By Ice Update #3: You Gotta Pay To Play!

Sometime last night, the Assassin-a-Nator Family got Ruby mastery the Death By Ice Event. We currently have 41,197 ices.
Something very interesting happens when you collect the Ruby mastery reward. You see your Ma has stats of 93/150 which is cool.
What's not cool is this! If you want to play again, you need to spend 1000 Reward Points! As you can see when this happens the total ice count is no longer visible. It only shows the ices count starting on the Gold Level.
If you want to keep track of your real totals, don't collect the last reward.
The leaderboard is finally fixed. The Assassin-a-Nators, The Mafia Wars Gods!!!, Hungarian's Arrows and ●яο●╬●яσмάήĩά● are on top!

    Please say this is not true...so never collect the ruby mastery and the contest continues? If you claim you must pay to keep playing in the event? Or am I just reading this wrong?

    I sent my form for the Assassin-a-Nator Family, I hope I am able to get in, if not, this is going to be another skipped event for me :(

    The leaderboard was still not fixed but it is now showing the APEs correctly at #2 :o)

    If you choose to re-do the event do you get 7 days or just the one day remaining?
