The Death By Ice event has hit my account. You will find it on your Home Page Module. You and your Family will work together to get as many ices as possible.
Here are the mastery requirements and rewards.
The Assassin-a-Nator Family is ready to battle. This Family was created for those fighters who aren't in Families that fight a lot or those waiting to join their own Family once the limit of 100 members is increased. We still have room for 22 more. If you want to join, submit

We currently have members from The Mafia Wars Gods!!!, Haider brought his group from Mafia Wars Maniac over, Top Mafia.Info, Mystified Mafia Wars & Pimping, The Mafia Wars Loot Lady and as a special bonus, John Mac The Knife who gets lots of ices has joined our ranks as well as Mazda Freak from the Mafia Wars Wiki. This should be a fun event. Now start icing!
In record time, the Assassin-a-Nators completed Bronze Mastery. When your Family reaches the goal, there will be a "Collect" button on the far right of the Home Page Module.
When you click on it, you get your mastery reward called "Ma".
You can brag about it to your mafia members. It looks just like an ice post so it will probably get ignored.
Once you collect your loot item, the Home Page display will show your current level of mastery. The leaderboard isn't working yet but I can't wait to see which Families are on top.
Just for fun, try searching for the Ma in your inventory! You will get a few pages worth of stuff. I'll update you on our progress of the Assassin-a-Nator Family throughout the event.
hmmm...can this event distinguish legitimate ices? i mean ices coming from the fight list? accumulation of ices should be easy by repeatedly attacking a low health account that autoheals...
