Brazil District 6: Rio de Janeiro: Rocinha

Share:

District 6 of Brazil is called Rio de Janeiro: Rocinha. Contrary to what we were told by the Official Mafia Wars Blog, there are 12 new jobs, not 8. I won't go into too much detail of how Brazil works as it's already been discussed when Districts 1-5 were launched. There are no changes and we can still ask our mafia for help with jobs and buy our required City Store items from the job page.
Here are all the job names, requirements and payouts for each level of mastery. As predicted, the energy costs are high.
Bronze
Silver
Gold
Ruby
One job requires Brazil Real and three jobs requires consumables. Here are the consumables you will need and the locations to farm them.
When you master the Bronze Level, District 7 unlocks and you get a Jangada which has pretty bad ass stats but it's special abilities are laughable. You get a 2-10% damage to City bosses in Las Vegas and Italy. Who comes up with this stuff? Dear Zynga, you can only fight City bosses in Las Vegas and Italy one time per level of mastery. If we are mastering Brazil, most likely we have already beaten all of these bosses!
There are 6 new loot items that drop in District 6.
As expected, the stats are good but the drop rates are horrible. Here is a small run of 500 jobs. It took 351,000 energy to get 32 of these items. I'll go into more detail on the new loot in later posts.
As usual the art team does an awesome job. Here are the graphics for each of the 12 jobs in District 6.

  1. The bonus damage to Las Vegas and Italy bosses *may* apply also to fighting Neo-Imperium bosses and other similarly formatted bosses in those areas too, so it may not be as awful as it seems.
