Crossing The Line Mission Walk Through

Share:

Crossing The Line starts out in Bangkok and takes you to New York and Italy. Overall it's not that bad and most should be able to complete it in the 9+ days still left. Find the Mission on your Mission Bar or your Home Page Current Events Module.
 Part 1
Overseer
Getting support from your mafia in Mission is a pain in the ass. It takes forever. Use the Mission Crew Link bookmarklet by Team Spockholm to generate a link you can post in your news feeds. You only need 5 so it shouldn't be a problem.
Looting 12 Hung Chu Enforcers was a little more difficult. The drop in Episode 3 of Bangkok while doing the job "Hire An Unsavory Crew". The job costs 72 energy if you have fully mastered the Pirate Episode but the drop rate could be better. It took me about 7,000 energy to loot them all.
If you're curious like I was, the Hung Chu Enforcer was a Bangkok Crate item offered in the Marketplace about a year and a half ago. The stats suck but you can still buy them for 2 Reward Points each.
The loot reward for completing Part 1 is 3 Protective Shirts. They really should add a decline option for loot rewards that suck.
Part 2
The Mark
There isn't much to do in Part 2. Go to Episode 2 of Bangkok and do the job "Receive a Kickback From The Buyer" 10 times. You will spend 1,000 energy if it's fully mastered.
Now loot 12 from fighting in Bangkok and you're done. There are no loot rewards.
Part 3
The Fast Lane
You need to rob 8 Chop Shops. You can do so from the robbing board or rob an individual from their profile. I laughed when I read "Rob 8 Chop Shops In New York". I wasn't aware that there were Chop Shops in other destinations.
Fight 16 opponents in New York and collect on your own Chop Shop two times. There is a 18 hour timer on collection intervals so plan accordingly.
The loot rewards are more of the same. The stats are mediocre and won't help many players. You get two Car Cutters and two Red Scorpions.
Part 4
Encore
Rob 8 Auto Boutiques. Again you can do it from the robbing board or an individual robbing page. You do need to win for it to count.
Go to Region 3 of Italy and do the job "Smuggle Goods Through A Fishery 20 times. If you fully mastered this job it will cost 72 energy for a total of 1,440 energy to complete the task.
Collect from your own Auto Boutique 2 times and you are done with Part 4. The Auto Boutique has a 18 hour collection timer. There are no loot rewards.
Part 5
Indulgence
Ask your mafia to send you 6 Satchels by clicking on the "Ask Now" button from the Mission.
If your mafia isn't responsive the first time around, you can ask again in 2 hours.
Go to Region 3 in Italy and so the job "Buy Out A Costume Shop" 15 times. It will cost 64 energy if you fully mastered it for a total of 960 energy. You can see below that somehow my job was reset. I hadn't completed the Fight or Social Paths so that's not why. I'm not complaining, I mastered the job again and got a skill point.
Buy one item from your post and you are done. There is a 23 hour timer between Port purchasing intervals so make sure you don't collect on it if you are close to getting to Part 5.
Finally a loot item that should help more players. You are rewarded with 4 Crystallines. They don't help me but the stats are much better than the previous parts.
Part 6
Small Fry
Ice 6 opponents in New York is easy. It looks like the fight list has calmed down and ices are easier to get now. Robbing 8 Mega Casinos was a little bit harder. Players are usually good about collecting them and they don't show up on the robbing board as frequently as the other properties. You can rob an individual robbing page and I used less stamina doing that.
Go to the Capo Tier in New York and do the job "Steak an Air Freight Delivery" until you loot 15 Metal Containers. The job only costs 28 energy and the drop rate isn't that bad so you shouldn't need to spend much energy to complete this task.
Declare war one time and you are done.
The loot digresses in stats from the previous part but the stats are still pretty good. You get 2 Steel Plate Jackets and 5 Chimney Sweeps.

Part 7
Pity Party
Clear 2 robbing board in any destination. You don't have to win them all, just clear them.
Go to the New York fightlist and locate the 10 Armed Guards. Each one cost 8 stamina to attack.
Go to the Hitman Tier in New York and do the job "Disrupt Rival Smuggling Ring" 16 times. The job only costs 13 energy so you will only need to spend 208 energy (even less if you get a Wheelman bonus).
Finally, collect from your Dockyard 3 times. Your Dockyard can be collected on every 8 hours.
When you are finished with all the objective, you get the Grand Prize which is a Ratite Dragster.

  8. 1. If you get the request for join for mission crew it will count as your support too...I did it all the time. Accept crew invite from your mafia. So it is easy task, unless you don't have any request and you need to ask your mafia to accept.
    2. It takes 12 hours for collecting from auto boutique not 18 hours.

  9. The Drop rate for the Hung Chu Enforcer is pathetic to say the least. I've finished Bangkok all the way through the highest level and I'm getting 1 Hung Chu Enforcer for every 1500 energy burned.... :(

  10. i hate this LOOT jobs... you spend 7000 energy and have 12, i burn 9000 and have 4 ... totaly waste of my energy and rewards sux

  13. I'd rather get loot drops from fighting. These mini missions are useless.

  14. The metal container also very pathetic in my case...so it is really individual. The loot lady said the drop rate is not bad, but really bad for me..level up + energy pack still can;t make 15...can't believe that !!!. I got a lot of prop plane and all X Men drop but not container loots

  15. bunch of effing crybabies. you all really suck at mafia wars and should really try russian roulette where everyone is a winner without much effort.

  16. I get better rewards just collecting points for Rewardville. This event definitely not worth the waste of time & energy. I also get better rewards just by doing Ruby level in Brazil. Zynga needs to pump up the volume and make it worth our while.

  18. Jen can you hear me ? Your dedication to your blog is outstanding ..but this mission sucks to say the least To many oh go here and rob then go loot these items from a job that has been done along time ago.. I just dont understand what programmer came up with this But i'm gonna guess he/she was waiting to release this Goliath of Giant epic fail.. does that make sense either way no more missions for that programmer I'd bet money on it or loot you decide lol..

  19. Thanks for all the great info, but this limited time mission is clearly a bust. The rewards in relation to the energy expended are completely laughable.

  22. Metal containers not so easy for me...have dropped easily 1500 energy and have only 12 of the 15 so far.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Took me a total of 3819 energy to get 15 containers...ridiculous!
