Now that I've had time to fight in Brazil, I have more to say about it and how it ties into the Brazil Crew bonuses. You can see here that it costs 5 stamina per attack in Brazil. This only sucks when you lose.
If you win, it's treated like 5 attacks and you get 5 times the experience and loot items. If you use the Power Attack, it will cost 25 Stamina
If you use the Power Attack, it will cost 25 Stamina and you get the experience of 25 fights but the loot drops are still in multiples of 5. The 25 Power Attack is not a good option for looting.
One of the Brazil Crew positions for fighting is called the Mercenary. When it's active, fights don't use any stamina.
You can see here I had 1793 stamina left after attacking the opponent below. My Mercenary position was not filled and fights were costing 5 or 25 stamina.
I added a player to my Mercenary position by double clicking on the green plus sign, and attacked the next target on my fightlist. You can see that no stamina was used and the payouts were the same. You know when you are getting the bonus because the image of your Mercenary flashes above the attack button each time you click it. To keep track of how much longer the boost will be active, there is a progress bar next to the image of your chosen mafia member.
Once the boost is exhausted, fights will cost stamina, the Mercenary image will gray out and a timer will start indicating the time until you can add a new Mercenary. You can add one every 18 hours.
I do like fighting in Brazil if I need to blow through my stamina quickly. I don't like it because it messes with my win/lose ratio. It's bad news if you lose a fight when the Power Attack option is checked on Brawler. I normally have a 99% win rate and you can see by this run that it was 89%. I didn't even get any FHEL4 items. I was happy to get 6 Construction Workers but will disable the Power Attack option next time I fight in Brazil.

thanks for pointing out the power attacks. figured
ReplyDeletesomething was wrong with the count
Good write up. One thing to note is that when fighting in Brazil 5 Stam = chance to win only 1 V Point. Other areas 1 Stam = chance to win 1 V Point. I did a lot of fighting in Brazil and noticed my V Point total was way less than I would expect normally.
ReplyDeleteGreat thx for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteby the way, brawler doesn't show the correct numbers, you don't get 6 items or 6 construction workers, but only 5...I tested it several times today when it said I got 6 Golden poison frogs, but after checking my inventory I had only 5 more...
ReplyDeleteMy power attack uses 20 stamina not 25 and each attack 4 stamina.:O
ReplyDeletethey FORGOT DAMN VICTORY COINS .
ReplyDeletefor the win rate could it not also be that the players in Brazil right now are heavy playing accounts? They had to complete the Carnaval mask event to get access so accounts that you wuld fight in other cities simply are not in Brazil hence the lower win ratio.
ReplyDeleteJust a thought not sure on that one though :-)
I'm not quite understanding the last paragraph. Why would your win/loss ratio be impacted by power attacking any differently in Brazil?
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten to change "Enable Power Attack" in Brawler so was merrily fighting at 25 stamina - though the loot drops averaged between 8% - 10%, with a much higher proportion of FHEL 4 dropping. However, when I got rid of the "Enable Power Attack" function my loot rates dropped to between 2% - 4% with 0% FHEL 4 dropping. It seems if you want the loot you will need to use power attack; you'll just have to work out whether the 5x ratio for loot is a good use of extra stamina.
ReplyDeletewe are losing more fights cause one of the crew gives 3 x attack boost. It appears there are two versions of Brazil Beta - I am using 1 stamina per fight and 5 stamina per power attack still - even in Brazil and I am not getting 5x loot
ReplyDeleteMy win/loss ratio is a lot worse in Brazil also but the loot drops are great for me. I see a lot of high level players there up to 4-5K so I set brawler to fight only those a bit above my level and on 5 stamina to refresh list after 2 consecutive losses. My usual loss rate is 7-8% but in Brazil it is up to 15% unless I change the setting.
ReplyDeleteI get only 1 stamina per fight in Brazil too (not 5) - maybe that kicks in when you are over a certain level maybe? (I'm in the 700s)
ReplyDeleteIf you use the Power Attack, it will cost 25 Stamina and you get the experience of 25 fights but the loot drops are still in multiples of 5. The 25 Power Attack is not a good option for looting.
ReplyDeletein other cities it will cost 5 stamina, you get the xp of 5 fights and the loot drops still in multiples of 1 ;) powerattack simply is 5 fights with 1 click.
