The Official Mafia Wars Blog poses a challenge. If you think you have what it takes, they want you to apply! If you think you can design or code the game, stop complaining about and apply today. All the details can be found by using the link above. The official rules can be found here.
I know nothing about coding but wanted to take a peek at the Engineering Test. It's 5 questions that the Spockholm guys would have an easier time answering than me. You would think it would take more than 5 questions to determine if someone could be a developer for Mafia Wars. This is especially true when you factor in that the first question is "what is your name". April Fools isn't until tomorrow.

lol I took a peek at em' too and it's all jibberish to me.... no wonder this game is messed up half the time what with that mess running behind it all.... LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI would Love to see some of the Spockholm folks jump on this , maybe they could fix this train wreck of a game.
ReplyDeleteBinary Tree's if fairly straight forward but been a while since I did them, but first question is likely to be something like
ReplyDeleteABCDEFGHIJKLM
I started the 2nd one, then I realised... The first question on page 2 DOESN'T EXIST so can't be answered. Either that or they can't even tell you what they want, I can only assume BREATH-First should be BREADTH-first.
When I have applied for a company job, if the programming department can't even spell programmatic terms correctly, its not the company for me.
Its like going into computer shop and them telling you, your hard drive is nearly full, you need more memory.
ahahaha .. exactly .. frist thing i noticed .. it should be breadth - first search ..on page 2 ..
ReplyDeleteother wise .. it was an easy test for me .. :D
My Answer for Q1 has been edited :( I assume Zynga bitched, while they trawling all the blogs and bitching, how about fixing something useful instead ?
