Customer Support Buzz Killers

Share:

We all know there are players out there who abuse the Customer Support service in an attempt to get as much free stuff as they can. In an effort to stop this behavior, there is a limit on how many requests you can make. The problem with this is that there are more than enough problems in the game to justify frequent Customer Support visits. Kev Ger posted the image below on the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page and I know he isn't the type to abuse the system. Pistol Pete said it best in a PAC meeting when he suggested that they fix the game and the Customer Support problems would go away.

  1. This is ridonkulous !!! Cannot even get into live chat support any longer and the email customer service is pathetic and hardly worth the effort for the aggravating outcome or (stupidity). My game is currently plagued with problems I cannot get resolved. The Live Support Chat was awesome and it's a pity that it is no longer accessible to me.

  2. sometime you might get the feeling that is all what zynga is, customer support, nobody who can actually repair something, only people who can "support"...

  3. Zynga's chat support policy should tend to all requests. It's in Zynga's best interest to give away freebies to players who might not deserve them rather than withhold loot/rps from those who do. It's good policy and good PR.

  4. Wow, that would seriously tick me off if that happened to me. God knows there have been days, and in a row, that I've submitted several tickets per day out of necessity. I'm thinkin' Pistol Pete hit the nail on the head.

  5. Since you know people with some zynga pull, can you suggest that they add a tracker in our profile for # of operations completed? After you reach the achievements, they aren't tracked anymore, and since this is a stat based game, they should. I do lots and lots of ops and it bugs me that I can't track performance.

  6. I have emailed twice now about a potential scam email complete with a website which if it is a scam its out and out, and all I get is "We'll reply to your email in the next 18 hours". I got the first one on MONDAY, then a Survey asking me to rate cust supp late tuesday, then I emailed again on wednesday, same 18 hour email, and now Friday, STILL no reply.

In the web hosting world we call support staff Ticket Jockeys or Ticket Monkeys because Monkey See, Monkey Do, and anything Monkey not see, monkey look confused.

  7. chat support was awesome and you actually got some comeback. 90% if i send an email I get a stock email back and it doesnt even refer to my problem, its like they never even read my mail just sent a reply. The last time I mailed customer support i got no reply for 13 days, and then the reply I got was 'can we help you with anything else?' ... what about helping me with the problem I complained about in the first place? and 13 days to reply after i got the we will respond in 18 hours acknowledgement? what a piss take Zynga dont know the meaning of customer service
