When I first outlined Brazil, I mentioned that we could ask for help on every job. Every job in every District no matter what the level has the option to request help from your mafia.
The problem is that not all "Ask" buttons are available at all times. Yesterday I was able to ask for help on a job.
I got 40% mastery for doing so. This has been confirmed by other players and it appears 40% is the maximum for any job. Thanks to Fiona and Mindy from the PAC for helping with this.

The next thing to do was determine the amount of time it takes until you can ask for help again. I tried at 8 and 12 and 23 hours and all my "Ask" buttons were gray. At 24 hours only the jobs that weren't mastered had un-grayed "Ask" buttons.
I chose the last one of the District I was in and again 40% was the magic number. Please comment with what you are finding the time interval between help requests to be. You would think they could just add a timer like they do for most other things (with the exception of the Mini Packs!).
When you help on a job, you get experience points. Not much right now but I hope this number increases as the levels of mastery get higher. If we can't ask for help on fully mastered jobs, eventually we won't see many of these in our news feeds.
I have not found a job that drops the Brazilian Timber or construction worker, nor in fights. My highest percentage is 40% and Ruby mastered 2 Districts....

ReplyDeleteI've been able to ask for help on jobs that like you said " weren't mastered" every 24 hours.

ReplyDeleteI've contacted zynga about it, but they replied back with a email saying they've received a bunch of questions for support since the launch of brazil that they weren't able to get back to me. So i guess its going to be a bug for the foreseeable future.

ReplyDeleteIs that a 40% per request per job or just 40% total per job? IE the first time I ask, I get 40%, then another 40% the next time?
ReplyDeleteAlso does it matter if you have already started the job? If I am at 60% and ask for the first time, will it complete the job?

The ask button does not work on my machine at home but does work on a friends machine, same account.
