I'm slowly cranking out the Missions on my main account and like many players have been experiencing the bug. On the Mission Luck Be A lady, you need to get 20 Satchels from your mafia. The first time I asked for help, I got 15 of them right away. Then it stopped and I had to wait 2 hours to ask for more.
The second (and third) time I requested help, I didn't get any of them.
Mike Nestor tried to send me one and was told that the "max number of people have already collected from this post". That doesn't even sound right as nobody is collecting anything.
Since this is my main account, I decided to create a Customer Support ticket because I refuse to spend 18 Reward Points to get this done. To create a Customer Support ticket, click
HERE. If you are lucky and Live Support is available and you will see the option for that as well. It's much faster that way but it wasn't available when I tried so I had to go the e-mail route.
Live Chat Not Available
One thing to remember when submitting a ticket is to always include a screen shot. Customer Support agents love them and you seem to get better results. Here is the one I made to outline the issue from above.
I got my confirmation e-mail right away and now have to wait for a response. I had to laugh when I saw they asked if I've tried CityVille. Do they really think that while we are waiting for them to fix a Mafia Wars problem that we would even consider trying out another Zynga game? I don't think this is the right forum for them to pimp out their other games!
I got lucky and Live Chat was available so I decided to utilize it. Who wants to wait? While I was waiting for an agent to come on, I went ahead and copied my e-mail and pasted it to Live Chat. They must have been really busy, I had to wait
My issue was resolved by adding the 18 Reward Points to my account. Chloe, the Customer Service agent, said this issue doesn't affect every player and those who do encounter a problem should contact Customer Support as they would love to help.
Now I can move on to the next one and hope there are no bugs to tackle.
This is not a bug, you must help to others and you got these satchels too.

ReplyDeleteYou need to help others members on their mission and you will get the loot. My problem was with portable HDs.
I have never ever ever ever ever seen that chat link in the 9-10 months i've been keeping count of not seeing it.
ReplyDeletemine started at -20 / 5. I got it to -5. Finally got onto live help after being told via email to uninstall MW, clear cache all that crap and all they could do was give me RP to fix it. So i took their RP and finished the mission by helping others with their backpacks :D
