Earlier today, the Coffin was missing from the Free Gift page. It was gone for a few hours and then it magically returned. Claudia and Andreas noticed this right away and posted on the

Because of this, myself and many others feared it could only mean one thing. Was the Coffin temporarily removed so they could do whatever it is they do to decrease the drop rate of the Handbasket? It looks like the answer is yes. Here are the 5 Coffins that I just opened. I asked around and other players didn't get any Handbaskets either.
I was able to get 6 of them in the past 3 days and Mike Nestor got 11! The next big question is will the Handbaskets remain in our accounts or will Zynga try to take some of them away? I hope they won't mess with this as it wasn't the players fault that they forgot to properly adjust the drop rate of Handbaskets.

It does put players at marginally significant competitive advantage... but I don't think its enough to warrant removal of items from the lucky accounts. I currently have 5...
ReplyDeleteZynga should just cap the max amount you can get of these at 15 or so, and then make the drop rate increasingly lower as you approach 15. It would save them the whining from people who could potentially get them taken away/ whining from people who didn't get enough...

yesterday i opened 5 coffins in the morning containing 3 handbasket, 1 spider, 1 pair of boot.
ReplyDeletei had a total of 6 handbasket.
yesterday afternoon my inventory said 3 handbasket as i looked at it (because the coffins were gone).
i chatted with the support and a very nice supporter gave me back my 3 handbasket,some rp and stamina/energy refill.
drop rate not changed here - got 3 handbaskets out of 5 coffins just now (12.15pm UK)

Grabbed 4 HB's Today. Also "Whale" if you had another tab open accepting gifts or watchiung the feed while brawler was running perhaps you hit italy when it went to heal?
