I recently and finally got my Football Stadium upgraded to Level X so I've been checking out what Football Fans can do for you.
Once every 18 hours, you have the option to generate a request asking your mafia to help you get fans.
When they click on "Goooooool" from your post, you get fans and they get one too.
I've been working using this for a few days now and it appears the maximum number of fans is 50. Even when I had 50 fans, I was able to get one for my energy account but the number of fans on my main account didn't increase. According to the
Mafia Wars Wiki Football Stadium Page, each fan give you a 1% increase in the baseline amount you would normally collect (minus any robbing losses).
Yesterday, I collect from my Football Stadium with 0 fans and got L$240,000.
Today I had 50 fans and got L$360,000. Notice that as soon as you collect, the fan number gets reset to zero.
The difference with the maximum number of fans is only L$120,000. If Lira were valuable in the game, this might be worth the spamming activity. I've decided not to annoy my mafia by asking for fans because I don't need them and they probably don't either.
The only good I have figured about the fans is for people still trying to get bhats for Bangkok...when they click on the post to give u a fan(as long as they are in bangkok) they receive bhats for clicking

ReplyDeleteWhat I learned too late is that clicking the Send Fan link will give you cash for whatever city you are in... until you build your own Football Stadium.
I wish I would have know this ahead of time, because I was still trying to finish Bangkok and cash is hard to come by there. (BTW, you received B$25,000 for each fan you sent. No clue about other cities.)
So while it doesn't help you much, it is really helps others out quite a bit.
As Fred said.. The biggest tip I can give anyone for Italy is: Do NOT build a Stadium-- EVER!
ReplyDeleteIf you do NOT have a Stadium, then when you help people with their fan links, you get money for whatever city you're in. Again, as stated before, Bangkok money is very useful, for the Faction Store, or if you collect monies in Italy, you can buy big items from the Port (since money is "free")
Running Spockholm's Stream Helper collects the fans for you, and I was making BANK in Bangkok, until I mistakenly built my Stadium.

Agreed. Do not build a stadium, I am collecting Brazil money from fan links since I didn't build it.
