Mafia Wars Meet The Family

Share:

Many of my friends have been asking me how the San Fransisco Mafia Wars fan event went.  It was a lot of fun and Zynga is planning on having more of these in other cities. Look for upcoming posts on The Official Mafia Wars Blog which will cover everything in greater detail.  I think the event turned out very nice and everyone there seemed to have a great time.  It was so nice to be around other players who are as passionate about Mafia Wars as I am.  I'm sure most of us can relate to the fact that the majority of people in our real lives don't play or get our game.  It was so awesome to be in a crowd where everybody played Mafia Wars.  I even ran into one of my strongest mafia members, Jesse Barrow of Death Inc.  Neither of us knew the other was going to be there.  Meeting people in person who you talk to on line is really cool!
All of the Zynga employees were very friendly and spent a lot of time talking to the fans.  I was able to talk to quite a few of them and one thing that was obvious to me is they ALL are very enthusiastic and love their jobs. The Community Managers did a great job of organizing this event.  Jill, who we all know as Jonezie Malone on the Zynga Forum Boards, is very proud of her team.
The Mafia Wars Community Managers are Jill, Nate (Blue Eyed Nate), Victoria (Victoria Was Here) and the newest member Sandy (Giselle Jolie) who is a Community Analyst.  I thank them all for making me feel welcomed and pulling off a great event that all the fans enjoyed.  Virginia, "The Goddess of [SIN]", was the professional photographer for the event.  She sent me a photo of the Community Management Team that I was able to crash.  How could I miss this Photo Op?
