One of the things that made the Private Zoo property in New York different from the other buildable properties was you could craft an item every 18 hours instead of every 24 hours like the others. If you're one to craft an item as soon as your timer is up, it would have been annoying to be 6 hours out of sync with the other properties. This is no longer a concern because the timers for the Chop Shop, Weapons Depot and the Armory have been changed to 18 hours.
