Blackmail Letter

Share:

Douglas Reyes posted the following image on the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page.  He received a Blackmail Letter as a gift from helping one of his mafia members in a Boss Fight.
If you scroll to the bottom of your inventory loot page, you will find that the Blackmail Letter is a trophy that most players received when they beat Giancarlo Morillo from the Street Thug tier in New York.  Problem is we can't really use these for anything and the message above says we can use the Blackmail Letter in boss fights.
When Zynga added the ability for us to see the items that are inside Crates, we saw the Blackmail Letter in the Stuffed Crates.
This item was later removed and is no longer a Crate Item.
The fact that the Blackmail Letter is still out there or is either a mistake.  If you go to the Street Thug Job Tier in New Your, you will find that the option to fight Giancarlo Morillo no longer exists.  Zynga replaced the old Street Thug Tier with a flash based version.  What this means is the useless Blackmail Letter is no longer offered as Boss Trophy.
According to Bossy Don from TopMafia.Info, the code is still there on the back end.  If you really want the Blackmail Letter or wish to pick a fight with Giancarlo Morillo, read her post which contains instructions on how to do it (1).

  1. I started playing MW back when there was only NY and I got the black mail letter then, and never found a use for it then or now. It serves no purpose whatsoever.
