A few things have changed since I covered the Black Friday Raid. We used to be able to get two check marks for buying Gold Treasure Chest keys. One for the purchase and one for using it to open the Treasure Chest. This was a great way to fill up your purchase meter, especially when the Treasure Chest Keys went on sale for 7 Reward Points.
Today, you no longer get a second bar filled for opening the Treasure Chest. It's important to note that you HAVE to buy items in the Marketplace in order to get the sale price. In the example below, Treasure Chest Keys were 7 Reward Points. When I opened a Treasure Chest, another one was offered to me for 9 Reward Points.
I tested it out and you still get credit for the purchase but you don't get the sale price. You will not be very happy if you get what I got when you opened a second Treasure Chest with your overpriced key. I want a refund!
Yesterday most of the items purchased in the Fight Club counted towards your Marketplace meter. Today none of them do. At first I thought this was a mistake in their fine print but I guess it was a programming mistake and has sense been fixed. So technically this isn't a nerf and only a big disappointment.
Now that the above items are no longer an option to fill your Marketplace Purchase meter, the best way to get a few more credits if you don't plan on buying a lot of energy and stamina refills is to buy a single Armor Plated Crate for 6 Reward Points.
Here are a few of the items I received. The Crates are a better way to go than Treasure Chest Keys because you don't have to worry about getting a crappy item. If you like to gamble and hope you will be the one to get 1,000 Reward Points from using a Treasure Chest Key, then you can take your chances. I was going to do that until I got the Royal Thai Marine.
DON'T buy the 3 Crates at once or you will be sorry. I tired it out and only one line on my meter filled up, not 3.
I did the same thing with the crates, bought three to start with and only got one box, so i started buying them individually and moved my meter over to max.
ReplyDeleteI bought some refills, just enough to get the Berzerker. 7 RP per refill isn't a big deal with Fight Mastery >=20, but it's still the best bang for the buck. Couldn't care less if my attack strenght is 120000 or 120500, but every skillpoint counts and I got another 75 that way (plus some extra for mastering jobs).
ReplyDeleteI never tried buying items from the marketplace. Can you tell me what happens when the meter gets full? Thanks in advance. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen the meter gets full, you get the Berzerker! You can get many berzerkers if you continue to buy.
