Thanks for contacting Zynga Customer Support. We are currently experiencing a problem where some Virus protection programs are flagging the South Africa challenge mission as a virus. Please be aware that this is not a virus, but a misunderstanding between the Antivirus Program and the coding in the South Africa feature. We are aware of the issue and we are working to correct the error message.

When I hear the words Virus and Africa used in the same sentence, I think HIV, Ebola, ASF or one of the many other viruses that originated in Africa. I would never think of Mafia Wars. Well this has all changed, now there is a rumored "South Africa Virus" and it's not a human infectious agent. It's a non-existent computer virus. As suggested by the Daily Post, I went to the the forum thread titled "South africa virus???" and found it rather amusing. Not only were certain anti-virus programs flagging The South Africa Challenge Mission as a threat but one poster reported this happening when loading the game from the Zynga Tool Bar! If you are having this problem, either adjust your security settings or use a different Anti-virus Program. I'm sure Zynga will be quick to fix this "misunderstanding" as it's never good for any ones reputation to have their name associated with a virus of any kind.
