I noticed that I haven't gotten a popup for a discount on Reward Points since Zynga started offering us loot for purchasing Reward Points. I don't know about you, but I would much rather prefer a discount. One of the questions I had in part one of this series is would we still get the loot item if we purchased Reward Points that were on sale. I finally got the chance to test it out.
I never did get a popup but I noticed a the 40% on my Reward Point icon on top of the game header. I immediately went to the Marketplace and made a purchase.
According to the loot offer, I needed to buy at least 86 Reward Points to get the better loot item.
I chose the minimum package to make this happen and it cost $24.00.
Now the moment of truth....I was very excited to get a Matchmaker for the discounted purchase above.
I was even given a chance to brag about this to my mafia. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't publish this because Credit Card players get a bad rap. I just wanted to find out what happened when my mafia click on the post.
When I clicked on "get bonus offer" from another account......
.....I got the 40% off popup offer. Too bad for Zynga that energy accounts are dead in the water.
I got the discount pop up a lot at a day! But almost all is 30%. Just got 40% now and purchase some RP and got the loot too.
