The new banner seen on our Mafia Wars home page has created a lot of buzz. What could it be? All we know is the "FEDS ARE WATCHING" and the Fight starts in about 2 1/2 days. The discussion thread on the Zynga Forum Boards titled
Feds are watching started by igz55 is currently 10 pages and only offers speculation. Some player think this means The Fight Club feature will be available to us and others think it means Las Vegas will be open. Zynga is following the first rule of Fight Club and there are no moderator comments at this time.
Since Las Vegas is supposed to launch in late July, maybe it will happen. One of my Mafia Members (Mr. Sim y0) sent me these pictures of the Las Vegas Casino. I didn't have this on my game. I believe in the don't ask, don't tell policy when it comes to my sources. Let's just say this is another sign that Las Vegas is right around the corner.
Maybe the Feds Are Watching means there will be an extended Mafia Wars down time so Zynga can convert the game to be 100% flash based. I doubt this will be the case but I'm used to being shocked by Zynga giving the people what they don't want.
