The Merry Widow Blues
The Merry Widow Limited Time Mission Event is one big hot mess [1]. To compensate for all the bugs Zynga has extended the timer by 2 days and even auto-completed 1 part for players still working on it [1], [2]. Despite their efforts to help players complete this Mission, the bugs haven’t been fixed and some players have wasted resources and reward points trying to get it done. Progress on objectives continues to reset and the current solutions given by Zynga have been the equivalent to putting a band-aide on a bullet wound. To make it even worse, some players have been able to collect rewards multiple times [1]. With all these issues, more needs to be done. Since the word ‘Merry’ is present in the title, Zynga should remove the timer and keep this The Merry Widow around for the rest of the year and call it a Christmas Event. There are only 5 more days and this won’t be enough if the bugs aren’t fixed.

ReplyDeleteI got to level five , after doing the same job , over and over and over , BORING , and then finally completed it , refreshed the page and lost the check mark , i gave up , spent the reward points to finish , went to customer support , after waiting thirty minutes , i gave up on that , tried the next day , waited another thirty minutes , gave up and finally on the third day i got my reward points back , after all that , i thought , i play for fun , this mission is NOT FUN , the repetitive jobs , the sad drop rates , and then to lose my check mark , ok enough is enough , i just stopped doing it , i play for FUN , not for a repetitive crazy mission that doesnt work

ReplyDeleteI lose my ices for the mission ice 300 in SA since when does 188 + 10 = 191 :/ that is only 1 of them had the same thing yesterday. I think i should 25 ices more or more. Plus that job that loot never falls grrrrr.
ReplyDeleteI keep iceing but no ive counts... I keep doing wars but no wars counts... I doing jobbs but no omlu some jobbs counts and I only spend my enerhi and stamina and cant fimmsh it...
ReplyDeleteI got robbed about 20 or so RP's in this mess but Zynga completed the last job for me. I was at 116 ices and then it was over, I was WTF until I visited this site. Was going to complain to get my RP's back but not worth my time. I think I am soon done with this game as it's not fun anymore.

ReplyDeleteMobilize Your Operation ....I ran out of Radio Phones and decided to use rp's.....um they are being bought 2 for 1 but the rp's are not being subtracted from my total :D
ReplyDeleteit was lag.....it is subtracting them....but it is still cheaper to buy the comsumables then to pay to complete.....

Noting has happend still bugs in it and try to finns is wery hard,,,, if you dont do all in one you lose some of the work every time you try.
ReplyDeletepart Severance Package is bugged... i completed it twice and after clicking on collect reward nothing happened... when i refresh page, i have only 34/35 parts on job LOOT 35 MISS ISLES FROM JOB:"POKE YOUR TEAM'S VICTORY IN RIVAL FANS' FACES". This is absolutely WORST mission in MW history... Mafia wars? No... Bug wars.
ReplyDeleteI managed to not get bugged, the "free" completion only gave me what I was logging on to get for free anyway (a single collection from the Truck Shop), and finished it up tonight on my "mini" (which is actually level 4437 with 8000 energy & 8000 stamina, completed all the other cities 6 months ago, and further along in SA than my main that's 1200 levels higher). The only thing I bought was 6 beer barrels for 3 RP (which I got back when I completed) for the last 3 jobs, so I wouldn't have to wait 4 hours.
ReplyDeleteIf you can avoid the bugs (None of my rather small family had them), it didn't turn out all that hard at all, provided you put every free means of collecting energy into it, and made sure not to waste any. (And using all your energy during the missions not requiring jobs to farm the consumable doesn't hurt, though I still only had a third of what I needed when I reached the last level).
Still, the Zynga employee that thinks that 3-consumable jobs belong in timed missions needs to be sand-blasted naked, then thrown into a pool filled with rubbing alcohol....
I can't get past Helping Hand since the bug doesn't count any of the damage I do in the Arena towards that part of the mission. Thanks a lot Zynga.
ReplyDeleteI have collected my truck stop 6 times -- on 6th try it finally said I completed that segment and collect rewards. The Collect button would not work and I am back to 4/5 truck stop collections. With 3 days left, this mission will not be competed. I refuse to use rewards points, especially when there is no guarantee that it will allow me to collect
ReplyDeleteI cannot collect on either Merry Widow or South Africa Missions. It lets me make progress up to the last item. The collect rewards button appears but it doesn't work. Once you navigate off the page it shows you still need that one last item to complete. I even wasted 4 RP to complete my SA mission but the same thing happened. Zynga will never get another nickel from me.
ReplyDeleteYeah, this is still screwed up. I just collected from my Truckstop. I already had once before. I used the boost so that I'd get double Rob Squad and Health. Got those but no credit for the mission. So explain to me why some people still pay to play this game?
