Every now and then, an account or family will encounter a bug that is unique. Unfortunately these types of bugs are almost impossible to get fixed because they can’t be reproduced. The TRiScaRo Family has been around much longer than the Family Module and are one of the original families/clans of Mafia Wars. This family has a bug related to Family Battle request and are at a big disadvantage because of it.
When it comes to the Family Battle feature, there are no shortage of bugs. Most are widespread and affect all families. Back in December there was a bug in which any member of a family could request a Family Battle if they went to the profile page of any other family [1]. Ever since then, the TRiScaRo Family has not been able to request Family Battles or accept them. When they try, nothing happens. They have taken all the proper steps of reporting a bug and so far nothing has been resolved. The simply can’t utilize the Family Battle feature. To put it into perspective, this family has potentially missed out on the chance to engage in 774 One Hour Family Battles since December 14th when they were hit by this undefined bug. That’s almost 800 loot items members of this family have not been able to collect. Not to mention all the fun that has been missed, especially for a warring family.
Members of the TRiScaRo are starting to leave the family because they feel they are at a disadvantage. You can see the recent decline on members on their Spockholm Family Ranks Page. It would be a shame for this family to fall apart after they have been around for over 3 years.
Please let us know if your family has the same issue. Maybe if enough families do, Zynga will devote more time into identifying and resolving the problem. Thanks to the Rayne, the GM of TRiScaRo, for bringing this matter to our attention. Hopefully this other families will come forward and the playing field will become more balanced.
First of all a big THANKS to the MWLL team .This is a real problem and i myself have Email and contacted CS over 50 times .. I just hope someone in Zygna reads this and does something about it other than say its been ESCALATED to a higher person or It has been made a PRIORITY .If i see them words once more ill scream . My fam had the same problem for about two months. Then someone came up with the idea that maybe it has to do with the number of battle captains (those that can initiate combat) in the fam, as it happened at about the same time as everyone was promoted to battle captain. So our fam boss demoted everyone and it worked again! He then added captains back and the problem has not recurred. There may be a maximum number of battle captains, hit that number and your fam is locked out. Hope this helps!

ReplyDelete4 months of not being able to battle (Triscaro Underboss here), we have lost members because of this! All we get from zynga is they are escalating the issue to a higher person in their "studio".....and to please be patient, 4 months is enough!! Our patience is gone!! POOP OR GET OFF THE POT ZYNGA!!

ReplyDeleteAsk Zynga for the 50rp and tell them why, then have Zynga take over the old family so they can fully investigate.
I totally get that they shouldn't have to do this but if their family is suffering surely its the way forward for them ?
Yes that would be Easy and we lose level 8 family perks almost level 9 .. how long do you think it will take us to get that again and also level 10 family properties .. It does sound like the easy way ..BUT WHY SHOULD WE ..They should just fix the game FFS .. its not rocket science is it lol

ReplyDeleteIt is to bad things like this happen to anyone in the game. If nothing else, they could just start all over again with a new family. Hard to do, because of losing the fmp, but if they wish to battle, they could work to bring up the fmp with those willing to go that route and when they get to the fmp level all could make the switch.

ReplyDeleteZynga does NOT care about this or any other issue with Mafia. I have reported an issue for over two months and they yet to address it, let alone fix it.

The ISSUE:
Do you win a ton of money in Vegas from fighting ? Then you go to Deposit it and the system refuses to allow you Deposit it ! I have literally walked away for 30 minutes and I still could not deposit it. How much money have I lost ? Figure over $500K a day or more on an average day. Zynga has yet to even acknowledge that this is a problem so I barely play it any more.
If it cant be fixed disable it!!!!!!!!!!!
