I don’t know what they are smoking over at Zynga Headquarters but the “Family Bargain” feature is evidence that it’s something mind altering. For the next two days, your family can gain extra skill points if the family collectively purchases 100, 200, 300, or 400 Rain Ponchos. The extra skill points for each tier is +1, +2, +3 and +4.
There are many reasons why this is a ridiculous gimmick and it really makes Zynga look desperate. It's just another sign that Marketplace loot isn't selling which can easily be explained by the fact that there are no longer new or naïve players. I have a much better idea. Why doesn’t everyone in the family go to their Weapons Depot, spend 12 reward points and craft a Pair of Stun Knuckles. Everyone will get +6 attack points and the family will be stronger. For 36 reward points, you could do this 3 times and gain +18 skill points versus the +1 you would get if 100 Rain Ponchos were purchased.
I went ahead and purchased one just to see what would happen. Someone beat me to it and I was the 2nd member in my family to give in to this crazy gimmick. I highly doubt any families will reach the 100 mark. When will Zynga learn that the only way to sell loot items at the ridiculous price of 35 reward points is to offer a buy back program for when items becomes obsolete or get more players who don’t know what they are doing! In 2 days from now, Zynga will see by their metrics a classic example of Epic Fail!
Zynga must think this feature is worthy of further explanation as there is a Customer Support FAQ Page. How could the guy who wrote this keep a straight face? It's easy to fool one person into thinking they are getting a deal but not an entire family! If 400 Rain Ponchos are sold all family members will gain a total of +10 skill points.

ReplyDeleteZynga needs to do some free upgrade weekends and some half price build weekends. If building was half price, I'd probably build at 7 properties, 5x a day at least.
They need to fix the fucking boss fight thing, so the price goes down with the timer, many times I've had 10k stam and been 2,000 off levelling (or similar) and checked the boss fight timer only to find it 2-3 hours off next fight, it was only like 2-3rp I'd pay it.
this is for those family wo have lots of money for zynga...and where there is 100 fool members like dat of zynga ;)

a month ago, i got a "rate our customer service" and i gave them a "0".
and now they are definitely responding to me again with reps that speak and understand English and are quick to response back.
