Tomorrow is April Fools Day and many are wondering if Zynga will do anything special this year. Nobody will forget April Fools Day 2010 when the Chop Shop mysteriously turned into the Unicorn Shop. Mafia Wars players were furious when all of a sudden their precious Red Angels turned into Rainbowcorns. Trading was a big deal back then and the Red Angel was a hot item. Many did not appreciate this joke and the rest of us thought it was hilarious.
Last year, Beat The Devs, was the big April Fools joke but it was lame in comparison to the year before. The joke really was on us because the event offered no rewards.
The only thing memorable about it was we got to see who was responsible for the Unicorn Castle.
It’s hard to guess what, if anything, will be done this year. There is a new Mafia Wars Team and April Fools falls on a Sunday. We will find out soon if the new team has a sense of humor. My dream is that Facebook will announce that Timeline was a April Fools joke gone bad and everything will be back to normal on April 2nd!

ReplyDeleteZYNGA will note that retaining players is actually more important and let us trade all but the very top loot, robbing will actually take a lot from the person being robbed and depend solely on strength of players and Cuba and Moscow will return along with old style fight page
ReplyDeleteidiot, why in earth would you want the old fight page back? Solely depend on strenght? Do you want to kill the game? The only reason this game still exists is that non-paying players are 95% of all players! Even London sucks for small players, all those bandits, I don't have the means to stop them, those bandits kill the game for small players.
Deletei bet they will do something in london and u wont know untill ur buy something/ do a job. or they roll all accounts back to level 1 that would be soooooooo funny
